Company Overview

The Solutions Architect plays a meaningful role in building long-term business relationships with clients. This

role plays an integral part of the sales team to drive the adoption of our services to meet our sales and revenue

goals by closing enterprise opportunities within accounts by building deep, consultative technical relationships

with our customers, effectively becoming a trusted adviser.

 

The Solutions Architect is comfortable presenting Claro's value proposition, technologies, strategy, and product

roadmaps to all levels including executives, technical management, and technical engineers. The Solutions

Architect will play a key role in driving the success of our go-to-market strategy, designing and implementing

comprehensive solutions tailored to the unique needs of mid-sized enterprises, with a Digital Transformation

Services, Managed IT Services, Software Factory, application modernization, AI and automation, and cloud

solutions.

 

This role serves as a senior technical advisor for strategic opportunities. The successful candidate will combine

the mindset of a consultant, architect, and former software engineer, bringing credibility to executive

discussions while maintaining the technical depth required to design complex enterprise solutions. Provides

technical support in sales presentations, product demonstrations, and installation and maintenance of company

products and services to ensure the solution is functioning as designed.

 

Leads the technical discussions in client meetings across multiple levels and disciplines to identify business and

technical needs, issues, and priorities. Formulates responses to customer inquiries/questions concerning highly

complex system. Designs technical solutions involving new and emerging technologies. Requires extensive

knowledge of company products and services. Serve as the senior technical advisor for complex, strategic, and

cross-portfolio pursuits and mentors junior members of the team.

Responsibilities

 

 

  • Client Engagement & Solution Strategy

    1. Partner with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Engineering teams to engage prospective and existing customers, understand business objectives and challenges, and align Claro solutions to customer needs.
    2. Serve as the primary technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, acting as the bridge between customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders.
    3. Facilitate technology strategy, requirements gathering, architecture discussions, and digital transformation planning with business and technical stakeholders.
    4. Develop strategic account plans, identify growth opportunities, and contribute to account planning activities.
    5. Build and maintain strong customer relationships while providing trusted technical guidance and thought leadership.
    6. Research customer businesses, industries, and market trends to identify new sales opportunities and solution strategies.

    Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership

    1. Design scalable, secure, and innovative solutions across application modernization, custom software development, cloud migration, DevOps, artificial intelligence (AI), automation, and managed IT services.
    2. Define and promote modern software engineering practices, including Agile delivery, quality engineering, CI/CD, DevSecOps, platform engineering, and observability.
    3. Guide customers on modern architecture principles, including API-first design, microservices, event-driven architectures, cloud-native development, and application refactoring.
    4. Conduct detailed analysis of business and technical requirements, translating customer needs into solution architectures, technical specifications, and implementation approaches.
    5. Develop transformation roadmaps that clearly articulate current-state ("as-is") and future-state ("to-be") technology environments.
    6. Partner with business leaders to provide expert technical recommendations that influence strategic decision-making.

    Sales Support & Business Development

    1. Provide technical expertise during customer meetings, presentations, solution demonstrations, workshops, and executive briefings.
    2. Create compelling proposals, bids, solution presentations, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and demonstration environments that communicate the value of Claro's offerings.
    3. Lead POCs, evaluate outcomes, and communicate recommendations to customers and internal stakeholders.
    4. Participate in RFP responses, contract renewals, and non-standard customer requirements.
    5. Contribute technical expertise to pricing strategies, commercial proposals, and contract terms and conditions.
    6. Participate in sales forecasting activities and support revenue planning for assigned accounts.
    7. Meet or exceed assigned revenue and business development objectives.

    Delivery & Cross-Functional Collaboration

    1. Collaborate with engineering, implementation, and delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are effectively translated into executable plans and successfully deployed.
    2. Partner with external technology providers, design teams, and engineering organizations to develop comprehensive customer solutions.
    3. Participate in customer reviews and solution assessments to identify challenges, optimize performance, and recommend improvements.

    Documentation, Governance & Continuous Improvement

    1. Develop and maintain solution architectures, implementation plans, technical documentation, standards, and best practices for both internal and customer use.
    2. Stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, certifications, and competitive offerings to continuously enhance Claro's solution portfolio.
    3. Travel as required to customer locations, partner sites, industry events, and business meetings in support of sales and solution delivery activities. 

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or Telecommunications Required Required and
  • Master's Degree Preferred
  • 7-9 years Experience in complex solutions Required and
  • 7-9 years Progressive experience across software engineering, solution architecture, technology consulting, or digital transformation. Required and
  • 1-3 years Prior hands-on software development experience with the ability to engage credibly with engineering teams. Required
  • English (High proficiency)
