Company Overview

Hybrid Role - Miramar Area

Shared role between two HR Generalists with interchangeable duties. Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office, 2 remote, with professional home setup required.

 

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources under a Shared Services Model, the Human Resources Generalist administers the Company salary scale/ compensation plans and benefits programs (including insurance and retirement plans), administers the company HRIS and new hires onboarding program, collaborates with the compliance with legislation, handbooks, policies, and procedures in the department for all our company affiliates, collaborates with employee relations, collaborates with the drafting of communications and emergency plans, generates and analyze reporting, metrics & analytics, supports shared services operations, serves as a back up to all HR operations areas, including recruiting, collaborates with internal and external audits, manages work visas/mobility and administers the Corporate Sustainability program. 

Responsibilities

HR/HRIS Administration

  • Lead HR reporting and analytics, support digital transformation, and serve as backup for recruiting and communications.
  • Support HR operations, including payroll and employee policies in a shared services environment.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, conduct internal audits, and maintain control systems.
  • Collaborate on employee relations, exit interviews, and emergency planning.

 

Benefits Administration

  • Partner with HR leadership to design and implement benefits plans, including health, dental, vision, and wellness initiatives.
  • Coordinate and manage annual benefits enrollment, employee communications, and updates to plan documents.
  • Administer daily operations of group benefits (medical, dental, disability, 401k, etc.), handle inquiries, and conduct dependent audits.
  • Maintain vendor relationships, conduct audits, and ensure benefits compliance (e.g., ERISA, COBRA, ACA, FMLA).
  • Support wellness initiatives and ensure accurate processing of leaves (ADA, FMLA, Workers’ Comp, PTO).

 

Compensation Management

  • Oversee compensation programs, including base pay, incentives, and executive compensation, aligning with company strategy.
  • Work with Finance on sales and variable pay plans, perform market analysis, and recommend adjustments.
  • Ensure compensation compliance, manage third-party vendors, and conduct regular reporting and analysis.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related discipline.

Work Experience

  • 1-3 years General HR experience in benefits administration, HRIS, and HR functions
  • 1-3 years Progressive HR experience as an HR Generalist or similar
  • 1-3 years Experience in data analytics, reporting, data insights, or related field

Skills Required

  • Knowledge of principles and practices in human resources.
  • Knowledge of US legislation Leave of Absence and Accommodations.
  • Conflict/mediation management skills. 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and personal information.
  • Ability to work as part of a collaborative team. 
  • Excel, Power point, and Word skills. 
  • Data analysis and reporting abilities. 
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to organize and analyze data. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills.

Language Skills

  • Bilingual English Spanish

Licenses and Certifications

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from HRCI is preferred upon hire, or must be obtained within one year of hire.

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated above. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
