Company Overview

Claro Enterprise Solutions is seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our Direct Sales team in the Managed Service Provider (MSP) space. The Sales Director will drive revenue growth by leading a high-performing team, developing strategic sales initiatives, and fostering strong client relationships. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in MSP sales leadership, with expertise in selling complex IT solutions and a preference for vertical market focus. This role reports to the Vice President of US Sales and requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a Direct Sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Design and implement go-to-market strategies for Claro’s portfolio, including ERP systems (ServiceNow), CRM, BSS, Cloud, SaaS, Staff Augmentation Services, BPO, Hyper Automation, Software Development, Software Factory, AI, and Digital Transformation.
  • Revenue Growth: Drive new logo acquisition, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities to meet or exceed sales quotas, leveraging a consultative sales approach.
  • Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders, positioning Claro as a trusted partner for digital transformation.
  • Vertical Expertise: Apply knowledge of vertical markets (e.g., healthcare, retail, finance, manufacturing, or automotive) to tailor solutions and messaging that address industry-specific challenges.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers, Pre-Sales Solutions Architects, and Sales Engineering teams to ensure seamless solution design and delivery.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including pipeline growth, funnel conversion rates, and revenue attainment, utilizing CRM tools such as Salesforce.
  • Compliance & Process: Ensure adherence to Claro’s sales processes, including deal registration, forecasting, and opportunity management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, IT, or a related field
  • Master's Degree Preferred
  • 10 years of sales leadership experience in the MSP industry, with a focus on leading Direct Sales teams.
  • Proven success in selling complex IT solutions, including ERP systems (ServiceNow), CRM, BSS, Cloud, SaaS, Staff Augmentation Services, BPO, Hyper Automation, Software Development, Software Factory, AI, or Digital Transformation.
  • Experience in vertical-focused sales leadership (e.g., healthcare, retail, finance, manufacturing, or automotive) is highly preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a track record of mentoring high-performing sales teams.
  • Expertise in consultative selling, solution design, and closing enterprise-level deals. Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) for pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to sales planning and execution.

Nice to Have:
-Established network of client relationships in target verticals.
-Experience with hybrid sales models or cross-portfolio collaboration.
-Knowledge of Claro’s existing customer base or regional markets (e.g., mid-market or smart city initiatives).

 

Language Skills:
-English (Spanish is a plus) High

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated above. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
