Company Overview

The Data Science Intern will support ongoing AI and analytics initiatives. This internship focuses on enabling non‑technical users to access and analyze data by querying structured databases using natural language. The intern will collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to support the development of an AI‑powered solution that delivers accurate, secure, and easy‑to‑understand responses in tabular, visual, or text formats.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

What You’ll Work On

  • Support the development of an AI solution that allows users to ask business questions using natural language (English and Spanish)
  • Assist with connecting and querying service inventory and billing/order databases
  • Contribute to chatbot development capable of answering basic operational and service questions
  • Collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders across the business
  • Document solution requirements, data sources, and technical considerations

Expected Outcomes by the End of the Internship

  • Documented understanding of current data sources and processes
  • Contributions to an AI agent capable of answering basic service and billing questions
  • Clearly documented solution approach and initial proof‑of‑concept support

Qualifications

Required

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • Coursework or foundational knowledge in:
    • Python programming
    • SQL and database fundamentals
    • Data modeling and schema design
    • NLP or LLM concepts

 

 

Pay Range

USD $14.00 - USD $14.00 /Hr.
