Company Overview

The Contract Data Extraction & Analysis Intern will support upcoming contract renegotiations with carriers and vendors. Contract information is currently dispersed across multiple documents and formats. This internship will focus on extracting, organizing, and summarizing key commercial and operational terms into a structured, centralized format to support decision‑making during renewals and negotiations.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  • What You’ll Work On
    • Review and catalog assigned active carrier and vendor contracts
    • Extract key contract terms into a standardized template, including:
      • SLA terms and service credits
      • Contract start dates, expiration dates, and renewal terms
      • Pricing structures and penalties
      • Key legal and commercial clauses
    • Prepare executive summaries highlighting:
      • Risks
      • Key obligations
      • Renegotiation opportunities
    • Build a centralized tracker or dashboard (Excel‑based)
    • Analyze contract data to identify trends, such as:
      • Contracts nearing expiration
      • SLA gaps
      • High‑risk clauses
      • Opportunities for standardization

    Expected Outcomes by the End of the Internship

    • Completed extraction and standardization of 30+ contracts
    • Centralized contract tracker/dashboard for filtering and analysis
    • Executive‑level insights supporting renegotiation strategy

Qualifications

Required for all internships

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university with at least two (2) completed years of coursework (junior standing or above). 

  • Pursuing a degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field (for technical roles). Business, communications, or related fields may qualify for non-technical roles (e.g., marketing, operations).

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent).

  • Legally authorized to work in the applicable jurisdiction for the full 10-week duration.

  • Able to pass a background check and drug screen appropriate for a cybersecurity firm.

Role Specific Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in: Business Administration, Finance, Legal Studies / Pre‑Law (Telecommunications is a plus)

Skills Required

  • Ability to speak and write Spanish
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret complex documentation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong written communication skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data organization or document analysis
  • Interest in contracts, operations, or telecommunications


Pay Range

USD $14.00 - USD $14.00 /Hr.
